Your future context
The Investment Advisor provides clients with investment advice, appropriate to their risk profile and the bank's strategy, in order to increase the return on their assets, enhance client satisfaction and ensure business growth.
The Investment Advisor works closely with the Private Bankers in the pursuit of perfect client service. In that respect, he/she is a key point of contact for the client and, as such, contributes to the retention of clients and their assets.
Your future role
1. Portfolio Succession

Contacting clients on a regular basis with investment proposals in function of the bank's strategy:
- Telephone contact;
- PTSS settlement with respect of Mifid2 regulations, i.e. sending KID if necessary, indicating reconstructability, giving an explanation of the transactions;
- Logging of the conversations if necessary;
- Follow-up & logging of alerts and attentions.
- Ability to convey the bank's strategy to the customer in a clear and coordinated manner during a commercial discussion.
- Independently setting priorities for customer follow-up.
2. Yearly investment Reviews
- Tracking the status of Yearly Investment Reviews and alerts.
- Ensure that all Yearly Reviews are made and the alerts are completed.
3. Participation to LIC
- Participating in the Local Investment Committee on a bi-weekly basis.
- Offer investment ideas in a clear way and explain them to fellow advisors.
- Constructive participation in discussions.
4. Processes and procedures
- Maintaining the Belgium Knowledge Base for Advice
- Making improvements to processes and tools, including through contacts with other
- (international) departments, elaborating and implementing these ideas
- Respecting the rules and procedures regarding compliance/house in order: AML,
- MIFID II...
5. Projects / Liaison Officer with Headquarters and other departments
- Ad hoc participation to projects within the bank
- Participation in the Sustainability Community
- Contact- and test person for project implemantions or change request for tools as TAP, T24, MS Dynamics, …: testings, giving feedback, proposing improvement ideas, training the consultants,...
